Need a little more control over your text/html editor than what Joomla provides by default? One of my favorite free extensions is the JCE Editor.

This editor provides enhanced image control, and easy to use font control. The best part about it is that it is free. A must have forJoomla.

Check it out:  JCE Editor for Joomla

Google Analytics Extension for Joomla

Posted by Brett Burnsworth in extensions

google analytics extension for joomla 1.5Having Google Analytics is a critical element to tracking the success of your Joomla website. Although there are many extensions available to do this, I have found one the really stands out from the rest.  It is called Bigshot Google Analytics

The main difference between Bigshot Google Analytics and other alike extensions is the ease of setup and lack of module positioning. Oh and did I mention that it is free?

Other software requires putting the java script code inside of a module and if that module isn't in the right position your analytics wont work.  Module placement can also sometimes be confusing.

With Bigshot Google Analytics you simply intall and publish a plugin, then enter your Web Property ID into the plugin parameters and viola...Your Joomla Google Analytics are ready to go.
